Training Course on 'Labour Statistics' in Maldives
 
Date : 24-26 November 2015 Venue : Male Maldives

In accordance with its 2015 Annual Work Plan and within the framework of the Statistical Capacity Building (StatCaB) Programme, SESRIC organised the training course on “Labour Statistics” at the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Maldives on 24-26 November 2015. The course was conducted by Mr. Kabir Uddin Ahmed, Joint Director, Industry and Labour Wing of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics (BBS), with the participation of 20 officials of the NBS of Maldives.

B. Labour Force Survey

C. Resolutions of 19th International Conference of Labour Statisticians (ICLS)

  • Work statistics
  • Employment work
  • Unpaid trainee work
  • Own-use production work
  • Other work
  • Volunteer work
  • Implications of the resolutions of 19th ICLS
